Big part of the work we do is collecting data that subsequently needs to be stored and analysed. So as well as helping with data collection we are helping our partners to put in place systems to store data and analyse it, by producing graphs and outputs. Our interns on this programme have become the stars of the national parks authorities where they have worked. They have used their data skills to help organise species and research data and have made important highlights with their analysis such as this one.
If the idea of playing with numbers to help protect natural areas and set policy measures to protect biodiversity appeals to you, look no further! This is the project for you!! We have had physicists and engineers helping on this work, this is not just for with nature conservation experience.
