Marketing local produce in Cazumba- Iracema Reserve in the Brazilian Amazon

////Marketing local produce in Cazumba- Iracema Reserve in the Brazilian Amazon

People in the community of Cazumba base their livelihood on several local products, that marketed outside the community such as:

  • Artissanal products made of natural robber: Plates mats, local animal sculptures and others.
  • Pulp of Acai Berry
  • Brazil Nuts
  • Medicinal essential oils

All this products are organic and sustainably produced, therefore are of the highest quality. However due the fact that their products are not known and they don’t have a brand under which to market them, they are subject to unfair trade. So the local community is paid next to nothing for them.

This is project has been set up to help the community association in Cazumba market their local products by developing a brand and a marketing strategy that communicates the sustainable and organic nature of their product.

This requires a person with knowledge of marketing and branding with understanding of fair trade or prepared to research the subject to help design the brand and suggest adequate marketing strategy.

If that person is you, and you are interested in helping this Amazonian community to achieve a fair value for their products we want to hear from you, please get in touch and we can discuss further details. We would receiveĀ  project proposals and appoint on those basis.
