Peru
Peru is located in the South American Continent, between the Equator and the tropic of Capricorn. It has borders with 5 other South American countries (Ecuador, Colombia, Chile, Brazil & Bolivia) and its only coast, on the west side of the country is on the Pacific Ocean.
Peru is considered one of the Mega Diverse countries of the world due to its diversity of species of flora and fauna. This is thanks to the diversity of ecosystems that the country hosts, from the pacific coast and The Andes, through to the Amazonian rain forest.
Wildlife Encounters
Peru is considered a mega diverse country due to its biodiversity richness and when you visit the Peruvian Amazon, you can really see why. For that reason we have called our Tropical Forests Holidays in Peru, wildlife encounters.
Tambopata National Reserve
