More than just a Rainforest Lodge
This reserve exists due to the hard work of one woman wanting to save the endangered tropical forest and its animal inhabitants. For the last 35 years, the lodge has hosted researchers, nature enthusiasts and tourists conscious about sustainable tourism. They are a pioneer in tropical forest conservation and world renowned in the practices of ecotourism. During your stay, not only will you be contributing to crucial tropical forest research, but you will have the chance to dine amongst Toucans, hike with Howler Monkeys, and lounge around with Sloths. You will be staying in hotel standard accommodation, all while immersing yourself in the stunning tropical forest.
If you are on your own, you will, most likely be in one of the J Rooms, which you may or may not be sharing with 2 other volunteers of the same gender, as well as a bathroom.
If you are in a group of 4 or more, you will be staying in the C Apartment.
You will have three meals a day provided in the lodge’s dining hall, unless you are in a group and have opted for the self catered option.
